About the Artist
I was born in Manila, Philippines. I grew up a child of the 80's, and I have fond memories of the cartoons and animated movies of that era. I started drawing around 6, and would continue drawing on and off until I got into college. I fell in love with animation, drawing movement and life, and telling stories with an animation workshop I attended the summer between senior HS and freshman college. I was accepted in the University of the Philippines, College of Fine Arts, majoring in Visual Communications (aka Advertising). I graduated with a Bachelor of Fine Arts, and started working with a local gaming company, then jumped from job to job, doing freelance illustrations with magazines, and doing educational animation for a while, before settling into an in-house graphic artist position for a corporate company. Think brochures, flyers, company collaterals. Currently, a stay-at-home mother of two, freelancing and accepting commission work when available.
